FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • WHERE ARE YOU BASED?
    I'm based in the West Midlands, UK. But travel all over the UK and internationally!
  • DO YOU TRAVEL?
    Yes! I'm happy to travel all over the UK and internationally.
  • CAN YOU WORK WITH A DJ I'VE ALREADY BOOKED?
    Of course! I'm happy to work with a DJ you've already booked. I can get in touch with them before your event to check about plugging in equipment and music etc.
  • CAN YOU DJ AT MY WEDDING/EVENT?
    Yes! I can also DJ up to 5hrs for your wedding/event alongside the saxophone sets. I'm happy to work with you to select songs perfect for your day beforehand as well as following the vibe on the night! My set up is 2 x Bose L1 8 Pro speakers (perfect for medium/large events), DJ booth, controller, mixer, microphone and lights.
  • DO YOU HAVE PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE AND PAT CERTIFICATES?
    Yes, I keep them both up to date and can send them across to you or your venue.
  • CAN I PICK THE SONGS YOU PLAY FROM THE SETLIST?
    Yes, we'll design the set list specifically for you and your event. I'm also happy to take your song requests too!
  • CAN YOU LEARN SONG REQUESTS BEFORE THE EVENT?
    Yes of course. Just let me know the song(s) in advance!
  • CAN YOU PROVIDE MUSIC IN BETWEEN YOUR SETS?
    Of course, I'm happy to play music in between my sets; just let me know what style/genre of music you'd like. There will be a small additional fee for music before or after my set.
  • DO YOU BRING ALL THE EQUIPMENT YOU NEED TO PERFORM?
    Yes, I'll have everything I need with me. If I'm playing alongside your already booked DJ then I'll double-check they're happy with me to plug my wireless microphone system into their DJ controller/PA system beforehand.
  • CAN YOU PERFORM OUTSIDE?
    Yes, for outdoor performances I will need to be in an area with access to a plug sock and protection from direct sun/rain in order to protect my speakers and equipment.
  • WHAT IS REQUIRED FOR YOUR PERFORMANCE?
    - I require 1x parking space at the venue. - I will need access to a nearby plug socket (I will have extension leads with me). - For outdoor performances, I will need to be in an area with access to a plug sock and protection from direct sun/rain in order to protect my speakers and equipment. - For playing alongside your DJ, you will need to check that they are happy for me to plug my wireless microphone system directly into their DJ controller/PA system through either an XLR or 1/4" Jack input (I keep both cables on me!). Also if needed, I can provide a memory stick with a pre-made set for the DJ to use for my performances.
  • HOW MUCH TIME DO YOU NEED TO SET UP?
    The setup time is between 15-30 minutes, depending on the event. I'll usually arrive around 45min-1hour before the start of the performance to get everything ready to go!
  • HOW LONG ARE YOUR SETS?
    The daytime and evening performances are usually 3 x 30 mins or 2 x 45 mins long. But I'm happy to spilt the 90min sets into different lengths to suit your event.
  • WHAT IF MY TIMINGS CHANGE AFTER I'VE BOOKED YOU?
    That's no problem, these things happen! If you could let me know as soon as possible then we can be flexible and work around the new timings.
  • CAN I BOOK MULTIPLE PERFORMANCES FOR MY WEDDING DAY?
    Absolutely! The most common booked together are: Ceremony & Drinks Reception / Drinks Reception & Evening / All Day - Ceremony, Drinks Reception & Evening Performances. Just let me know when booking which performances you are interested in.
  • CAN I ADD ON A VOCALIST/VIOLINIST/TRUMPETER/PERCUSSIONIST TO MY PACKAGE?
    Enquire now for add-on services such as an additional vocalist, violinist, trumpeter or percussionist to the mix when booking a saxophone package! I can source the musician perfect for your day. We can perform together or as individual sets for your wedding/event🎤🎻🎺🥁
  • ARE YOU AVAILABLE FOR RECORDINGS?
    Yes, I have a home studio set-up for all of my remote recordings. Just get in touch with your projects and ideas!
  • HOW DO I BOOK?
    Please fill out the form on my contact page or email me all your information and I'll get back to you with a quote. Once both parties are happy, I'll send a deposit invoice and once the payment has been made the booking will be confirmed! The final payment is due the day before your wedding/event.
